Great wines for a good cause! Penguin Bay wines are easy to enjoy, knowing that a portion of the proceeds from all Penguin Bay wines supports the endangered Humboldt penguins at the Syracuse Rosamond Gifford Zoo.

Located just 12 miles north of Watkins Glen on Rt. 414, you are invited to visit Penguin Bay Winery, nestled along a hillside overlooking some of the region's premier vineyards, where you will enjoy one of the best views of Seneca Lake while sampling premium Finger Lakes wines. Previously known as the Finger Lakes Champagne House, on October 8, 2005 we became Penguin Bay and joined the Peterson family of wineries.

When you visit the tasting room, you can choose from the premium line of Penguin Bay wines, ranging from dry to semi-sweet, plus a selection of sparkling wines from our highly-acclaimed sister wineries, Swedish Hill and Goose Watch. We offer Pinot Grigio, Surfside Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Percussion (Gold Medal Winner), Riesling (Gold Medal Winner), Valvin Muscat, Tuxedo White, Moscato, Pinot Noir, Maroon Four, Cabernet, Humboldt Red and Tuxedo Red.

Swedish Hill, located in Romulus, opened in 1986 and is one of the best-known and most-awarded wineries in the region.

Goose Watch offers premium wines (dry to sweet table wines, as well as sparkling and dessert wines) made from varietals and blends you might not find at other Finger Lakes wineries.
